Easter Bunny Cookie,Vintage Easter bunny cookie
Have you ever fell in love with a cookie cutter??...It might sounds weird, but this happens to me quite often.
When I saw this set of cookie cutters at Williams Sonoma, I felt in love with it, at I immediately thought about decorating the cookies with a Vintage vibe, so I decided to man a vintage Easter bunny cookie.
I love everything vintage, but I think what I love the most are Vintage cards...and this particular cookie remind me of those cards were a little kid is dressing up as an Easter bunny, and when i was decorating the cookie I remember how my little girl used to love some bunny ears that we bought her one Easter...she use to wear them....everywhere...and she looked super cute....I promise I will share the picture one day!!
Here are the steps I followed to decorate this cookie....Enjoy!!!
Outline the border of the cookie with medium firm royal icing and decorating tip #1.5
I tinted flooding royal icing in white and flesh color, and filled up the cookie starting with the face and I let it dry completely. When the face was dry, I flood the other part of the cookie with white icing.
Before the cookie was completely dry I sprinkled some sylver sanding sugar and let it dry.
With white medium firm royal icing I made the hair.
Using edible markers I decorate the face and the hair.
With firm pink royal icing and decorating tip # 104, I made the bow and the center of the ears.
You can color the hair of the little kid any color you might like.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cookie....
I wish you have a wonderful Easter surrounded with all your love ones and that you celebrate the Wonderful gift Jesus has gave us to all.
Happy Easter!!
