Wow! This is the first time that I read about the Pantone colors, I think that this also apply very nicely to the pastry world, as you know pastries like to be "on trend" and need to be made in colors that will match the party decorations and I think this year, a lot of themed cookies will come in this color hue.

The color wheel call for violet and Christmas red to create a similar color, I will add some blue tones to make it more similar to Veri Peri.
I will use:
* Violet ( 1 part )
* Super red ( few touches)
* Wedgewood ( few touches)
You can play around with these three gel colors to find the perfect shade.
Always be careful when adding red gel color, a little bit goes along way and mix very well before adding more.
These little color wheel is a great tool to have around your kitchen, you can start with the suggestions it gives you and then you can add some other colors to achieve what you are looking for.
