St. Valentine's findings for bakers
Ok, 2023!! Here we go! Now that the main festivities has passed I am staring (slowly) to get in to my "Cookie mode".
But after visiting my local Sur La Table store, my inside baker started to thinking on ideas on how I will make some cute Valentine's baked goods!
The themed for this year Valentine's Day if "Cupid and arrows trying to fletch some hearts".
The apron and the kitchen towels are made with eyelet and cute trimmings and appliqués, they are dainty! And the apron comes in kid's and adult's sizes.
Making the famous "Madeleines" has been on my list for several years, and I think this year I will make them, look at this cute heart madeleines pan, I love it, and hearts are not always just for Valentines but great to make them all year round.
This doughnut pan is also very cute!
I love stamped cookie cutters, because they are easy to use, you don't have to make too much for your cookies to look cute and there are several ways you can use them to create beautiful cookies.
This set of heart cookies, you can use them to make so many different cookies ideas, like some linzer cookies or even Valentine's cards! Click HERE for more details.
I remembered when my daughter was little we used to have playdates and the Valentine's Day was always some of our favorites, and I think those memories always make me do something cute for Valentine's Day not only for my husband but also for our daughter and can't wait to make some new recipes for them!
Growing up, Valentine's Day was the day of love and friendship and these salad plates, trays and little mugs will be a great little gift for someone special and if you add some homemade sweet treats, that little gift will raise the bar!
Tomorrow I will be having a Live Episode on Pinterest TV, where I will be making some easy Valentine's Day cookies, I hope you can join in, here is the link so you can RSVP, HERE
