Each of them have certain things that I like, for example I love the pastel colors of Easter cookies, love the fun of the Halloween cookies and love what I feel when I am making Christmas cookies. Christmas cookies always come with a warm feeling of family and nostalgia and today I will share with you some Easter Cookies.
Easter is couple of days away and I had been making a lot of Easter cookies lately. I made a live stream show on KITTCH decorating some cookies, these cookies are a little different, I tried to make them affordable and easy to decorate so anybody can give them a try!
Here is the link so you can watch how I decorated the cookies.
If you have been following me, several years ago I shared a video on how to lower the cost of your decorated cookies and instead of using royal icing to decorate them, I suggested to decorated them using glacé icing, it is easy to do, super less expensive and dries hard as well. This icing is made with milk so it is perishable.
This simple glacé icing recipe might bring you back memories from your childhood, it used to be very popular to decorate Christmas cookies, you can find the recipe here: GLACÉ ICING RECIPE
The cookie recipe I used is delicious and super easy to do, the cookies are soft and are good for adding icing. CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE and you can CLICK HERE for the Youtube tutorial.
When you bake these cookies you need to let them cool down for a little bit in the baking sheet so they harden a little bit and then move them to a cooling rack, like they are so soft they are more fragile when they are freshly baked.
Ok guys, thank you very much for stopping by! I wish you all a happy Easter
