Chocolate GanachePrep time: 10 min

INGREDIENTS225 grams Baking dark chocolate 1 cups Heavy cream 4 tbsps Unsalted butter, room temperature 1 pinch Sea salt 1 tbsps Grand Marnier, Optional
PREPARATIONThis recipe will make about 1 1/2 cup of chocolate ganache, is enough to fill 40 macarons approximately. 1.- Place the chocolate, salt and butter in a small microwave safe bowl, set a side. 2.- Bring cream to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat and pour the hot cream over the chips and butter, then mix until smooth. If the chocolate is not completely melted you can put it in the microwave for intervals of 10 seconds, mixing after each ten seconds on the microwave. 3.- Add the Grand Marnier and mix. 4.- Let the ganache cool, stirring occasionally until it has thickened. Transfer to a pastry bag and use to fill and assemble the macarons.
