This is a new twist for the popular key lime carlota, the ddition of dried cranberries make this dessert perfect for your holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup key lime jucie
- 1 can (14 oz) condensed milk
- 1 can ( 12 oz) evaoporated milk
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 10 oz galletas Marias, about two packages
- 1-2 tsp key lime zest
Instructions
- To prepare the filling, in a blender combine two cans of milk, key lime juice and cranberries. Blend until smooth and velvety.
- In a 15" by 10" baking dish spread a thin layer of the filling on the bottom.
- Add a layer of galletas Marias on top of the filling. Continue layering, alternating between the filling and cookies, until you run out of ingredients. Make sure the final layer is the lime filling
